The IR Clinic: Evaluation, Triage And Preparing The Patient For Intervention

UFE Adenomyosis, Pregnancy, Ovarian Arteries, Complications:
UFE has become a relatively routine procedure for interventional radiologists. Controversy remains with regard to several specific issues. Should patients with primarily Adenomyosis as a cause of their symptoms be offered UFE? Should patients who desire pregnancy or patients with infertility be treated? What role does the ovarian artery have in UFE therapy? Are pedunculated or submucosal fibroids treatable? Is there a size limitation? These issues and more will be addressed during this workshop.
